My research interests cover theoretical linguistics, in particular the syntax of English, Irish and Polish. I work within generative grammar, especially the Minimalist Program. I have studied the licensing of PRO and control in English, Irish and Polish. I have investigated copular clauses in English and Polish. I have also analysed the syntax of psychological predicates in Polish. Currently I am involved in the study of transitive impersonal structures in Polish.
