Streszczenie: The article’s objective is to demonstrate the educational role of nurses as entities obliged by national and international law to shape careers’ attitudes towards childhood vaccination. The article considers the specificity of provisions regarding vaccinations carried out in Poland and the context of the work of medical personnel from Poland. The study shows that parents have general knowledge about the compulsory and recommended vaccinations for children, but only half know the applicable provisions underlying their implementation. Nurses have comprehensive knowledge about vaccinations regarding WHO standards.
