Streszczenie: The main aim of the research was identifying the dimensions of perception of Ukraine and other post-Soviet states and determining their specifications in the perception of Poles. Based on research 3 common dimensions for evaluating the country were isolated: the quality of life, political structure and economic development. Similarities and differences between countries in the subjective perception of the image were analyzed in the aspect of objective indicators.
