Streszczenie: Six-Party Talks – political and law instruments to ease the tension in Korean Peninsula The Six Party Talks in international initiative to solve one of the greatest problems in Korean Peninsula which is North Korean Nuclear Weapon Program. The origin of Six Party Talks began in 2002 when resumption of North Korea's nuclear weapons program brought serious crisis. It has become a major international problem. The parties of negotiations are: China, Japan, USA, Russia, North and South Korea. In perspective of unification issue, the North Korean Nuclear Weapon Program is considered to be one of the obstacles to reunification of Korea. Despite the specialized topics, Six Party Talks are peculiar international discussion forum on the Korean question, as well as other initiatives of the international community. Unfortunately since 2008, negotiations are at an impasse. Some experts claim that Six Party Talks will be resumed shortly, but others are skeptical. However multilateral negotiations are not popular in Asia, they can be more effective than direct bilateral negotiations, especially when the weapons program by North Korea is a matter of not only two countries but the entire international community. Moreover, they are one of the obstacles to the unification of Korea, so the importance of the Six Party Talks is even greater.
