Dr. Karolina Hosang (née Drabikowska) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland. Her interests include phonology, historical linguistics, sociolinguistics, translation, language acquisition and teaching. She is the statistics editor of Linguistics Beyond and Within (LingBaW) – a peer-reviewed online journal, published by the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

Outside of work, Dr. Hosang enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Her favourite places are Minnesota, Italy and London. She likes eating Chipotle, Neapolitan pizza and jelly beans.
