2.     Professional Summary

Currently specialising in empirical research on university students' attitudes toward AI, as well as in the sociology of morality and migration. Author of scholarly publications based on empirical research, including studies on Poles' attitudes toward Brexit, the perception and acceptance of artificial intelligence among students in Poland and the UK, and the social and psychological impacts of the armed conflict in Ukraine, with a particular focus on PTSD. Experienced in conducting interdisciplinary research and collaborating with international academic institutions.

2021 – Present: Assistant Professor, Institute of Sociological Sciences, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin

  • Conducting research in the fields of sociology of morality and sociology of migration.
  • Delivering lectures and seminars on topics including social worker ethics, microstructures, demography, and sociology of migration.
  • Supervising student projects and theses, fostering their academic development.

4.     Research Interests and Expertise

Research interests currently focus on attitudes toward emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), and the sociology of religion and migration. Particular emphasis is placed on the socio-demographic and ethical determinants of AI acceptance and the relationship between religiosity and social integration in diasporic communities, including the experiences of Polish migrants in the UK and their reactions to Brexit. Additional areas of interest include mixed marriages and their impact on shaping religious and cultural identities.
