Wojciech GIZICKI – Ph.D. Habil., Associate Professor KUL. MBA. From 2020 Vice-Dean for education, Head of the Department of Security Sociology and Criminology, Faculty of Social Sciences. Chief Editor of Roczniki Nauk Społecznych (Annals of Social Sciences). The Founder the Sądecko-Lubelski Institute (NGO). A Member of Institute of Schuman’s Thought. Expert during Czech Presidency in V4 (2016).

In 2018 he was a Visiting Professor at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The other scholarships, internships, study visits, e.g. Bratislava, Brno, Budapest, Debrecen, Kiev, Kosice, Kaunas, London, Lviv, Lutsk, Prague, Trnava, Washington, Vienna, Vilnius. He has delivered over hundred papers and presentation at conferences, symposia, and seminars in Poland and abroad.

Wojciech Gizicki’s scholarly interests include  international security, european integration, V4 cooperation, Three Seas Initiative. He has been publishing extensively in these areas in Polish and European journals.

Gizicki has authored and co-edited more than twenty books, including A Security Community. Poland and Her Visegrad Allies: the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. Lublin 2013, Poland and Ukraine. Partnership and Regional Cross-Border Cooperation.
