Streszczenie: Interest in integrative and confrontational internal dialogues has been growing, however researchers define them differently. The article proposes a theoretical approach to integration and confrontation as independent dimensions in internal dialogue as well as an empirical method of measuring these processes. Additionally, results of linguistics analysis of integrative and confrontational dialogues are presented. It was found that these two types of dialogues differed in several linguistics categories. The intensity of integration is explained by three variables: first person singular pronouns, negations, and certainty. Confrontation intensity is linked to two variables: inhibition and present tense verbs.
