Streszczenie: Recent legislative amendments in Poland, which were connected with the introduction of modern forms of juridical acts and the entry into force of eIDAS Regulation (it is directly effective in the Member State)s, are important for all behaviours assessed from the point of view of the Civil Code regulations on the form of juridical acts. The entry into force of said amendments also affects the assessment whether or not the requirements of form of a handwritten testament are met, especially if the testator files in the electronic form a declaration of his/her last will with a qualified electronic signature and a qualified electronic time stamp. The reflections presented here should be seen as a voice in the discussion on the need for a separate form of electronic testament.
